Authentic Kitchens Designed and Made in Sussex

    TRUSTED LOCAL KITCHEN DESIGNERS

We’ve been making Inglis Hall kitchens in Sussex for decades, drawing on years of experience in fine cabinet making and traditional timber framing. Our cabinetry is guaranteed for life, designed and made not just to impress today, but to endure for generations. We build for those with a deep appreciation of materiality and quality, and a respect for the integrity of traditional cabinet making.

Visit our showroom in Lewes and see our real working kitchen, as well as our workshop just down the road. This direct connection between design and manufacture allows us to refine details continuously throughout a project, ensuring the finished kitchen feels cohesive, considered and deeply resolved. It also means the people making your kitchen genuinely understand it, not just as cabinetry, but as part of a complete architectural and functional vision.

KITCHENS IN LEWES, BRIGHTON & HOVE, AND SUSSEX

We work on projects all over the UK but especially enjoy crafting kitchens for homes right here in Lewes, across Brighton and Hove and throughout the wider Sussex countryside. There is a distinct value in working locally. It allows us to visit in person and spend meaningful time in your space.

We can observe the natural light - how it travels, settles, and lingers - and allow it to guide the design. We notice the quiet architectural gestures, the details that give the house its voice, and we work with them rather than against them. It goes beyond simple measuring. It is about absorbing the character of the house and the people in it, creating a space that feels so natural, it's as if it's always been there.

    PLANNING YOUR KITCHEN BUDGET

We believe it’s far more helpful to understand the likely investment for a complete project rather than a cabinetry-only “starting from” figure. As a guide, smaller local kitchens usually start around £45,000 including worktops, appliances and installation, with most Inglis Hall kitchens averaging closer to £80,000.

Every project is different, of course, shaped by scale, detail and material choices. We’re always happy to offer early guidance around budget.

"The team are incredibly passionate about the quality and bespoke nature of the work they do and it very much shows in every aspect of the service. Right through to the install they were a pleasure to deal with and worked well with the other trades and services involved in the project to ensure a smooth client experience. A couple of years on, the kitchen is still in fantastic condition and copes brilliantly with all the trappings of high use busy family life."
