The Light. Parlour

A collaboration with revered brand Fritz Fryer. Light is everything and kitchen lighting is critical. Never had an otherwise delightful dinner ruined by bad lighting?
An exercise in pared back engineering, perfect proportion, beautiful materiality and, critically, gorgeous glow.
A Pendant Light that beckons and softly draws. Light that welcomes. Light that makes dinner a ceremony to appreciate. Light that reminds one that the kitchen is a multi sensory pleasure. Perfect over the kitchen island.
From a hasty (and hazy) sketch on a napkin in the fantastic restaurant run by family friend Jesse Dunford Wood. The first standard product by Inglis Hall. The piece that evolved to a point that it could not be improved.
Is why the light called PARLOUR got it’s name.
Inglis Hall products are handmade to a very high quality, mostly to order, in our Sussex workshops or by our UK partners. This means that some items can take up to 12 weeks to produce and arrive with you. We always endeavour to deliver more quickly whenever we can, and some smaller items and products that are held in stock will arrive much faster.

CARE
The Parlour Light is manufactured entirely from brass. The patinated finish is applied by hand and as such varies throughout the light fitting. The final finish is ‘fixed’ via a fine coat of silicone lacquer and requires very little maintenance.
We recommend wiping with a soft damp cloth to remove dust. Cleaning substances or abrasive materials must not be used.
