IH.148
A Hampshire Arts and Crafts country home with pretty period features including decorative cast iron windows, deep fireplaces and exposed beams.
A sympathetic extension providing an expansive open-plan kitchen / dining space with glazed doors straight onto the terrace and views to the tree lined garden beyond.
We designed a kitchen and boot room befitting the old and new. A warm palette of American walnut and deep green cabinetry echo its natural surroundings and a generous central kitchen island with deep drawers and sink unit makes for a social space.
On one side a grand family sized fridge/freezer by Fisher and Paykel and on the other, a smart crockery cupboard on a solid walnut base frame, full width doors on Brusso pivot hinges and Ged Kennett handles.
A row of floor to ceiling cabinetry in the boot room hides the daily deluge of family life.
A contemporary kitchen made in the traditional way befitting the building and its setting.
