Second Helpings
Following the success of the First Supper earlier this year at our Lewes High Street space, a sumptuous spring tasting menu and wine pairing evening awaited our guests courtesy of the decadent duo - culinary wizard Richard Falk and sommelier Dominic Buckwell.
A feast for the taste buds of the spring season including:
Heritage grain sour with Citizens of Soil olive oil
Risotto of wheatberries, nettle and smoked eel
Line caught pollock, clams and toasted kombu
Lamb with fired new season peas, asparagus, merguez ragout, sorrel
Sweet onion tart, Wigmore and honey and rhubarb and custard
All washed down with a selection of hand-picked French wines and of course Breaky Bottom Sussex Sparkling.
