Caesarstone X Inglis Hall Press Event

There’s really nothing quite like an Inglis Hall kitchen.

And there’s nothing quite like sharing the experience with industry friends and colleagues at their actual kitchen showroom on Lewes High Street. The place is, rather special.

And it is clear why. An absolute commitment to using traditional skilled craft but for a very modern outcome. A rarity in the world of mass produced, throw away culture.

    Not here.

Solid, beautiful and timeless kitchens that let the materials lead the way. Layers of quality and the kind of swoon inducing details that only a handmade kitchen can give.

Of course, a kitchen is more than a series of stunning hand-built pieces of furniture.

A run of exquisite oak cabinetry or layer upon layer of precisely designed cutlery drawers or an expanse of wall clad in raw band-sawn oak. More swoon.

A kitchen needs to be hardworking, functional and practical as well as beautiful and timeless. The critical kitchen fundamentals where collaboration is key to creating a masterpiece that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Cabinetry, worktops, appliances, sinks and hardware all combine like an orchestra of elements that are meticulously designed to work in perfect harmony together.

Frankly, nothing is more disconcerting than a beautifully made kitchen with poorly executed accompaniments.

One of the reasons why Inglis Hall is just a little bit fussy about who they work with.

People who share the same values and ethos of “buy once, buy better”, who care, deeply for every single client where quality, provenance and materiality is at the heart.

One such collaborator that has got it absolutely right is Caesarstone. A company that meets the need/desire for long lasting quality and timeless design.

And so, what could be better than spending a cold late November afternoon in the warmth of an Inglis Hall kitchen to further our creative alchemy.

Even better – to do it with like-minded people who understand and appreciate fully what Inglis Hall and Caesarstone are about and just happen to be some of the UK’s leading home and interior design press.

And so, a kitchen full of excitable chatter, glasses of Breaky Bottom in hand and a decadent menu with the promise of rapturous contentment by the end, impeccably delivered by notable chef Richard Falk and his team.

This was going to be good.

Course after sumptuous course. The wonderful sound of another bottle being opened, ‘oh go on then, just one more glass'. A kitchen that just happens to be less than five minutes from the station is the perfect excuse not to drive.

More chatter continues late into the afternoon, the importance of aesthetic in a kitchen, the ‘oohs and aah’s’ as samples go round like pass the parcel. The tactile feel of textured surfaces like concrete, the smoothness of exquisite Isobellia porcelain, soapstone, brass and solid oak. And that oh so beautiful Yakumo kitchen island and wall of band-sawn oak.

Materials and quality that last a lifetime. Guaranteed.

For people who understand and appreciate what it means to have an Inglis Hall x Caesarstone kitchen.

And now, the final flurry. For our guests, full of belly and contentment levels exceeded, there’s time for one last drink before the 5:05pm train departs out of Lewes back to London.

Thank you to our guests and to our chef Richard Falk and team, and friends at Pure PR for a wonderful afternoon.

    Caesarstone and Inglis Hall.
