A Cutlery Drawer Like No Other

In times gone by cabinet makers displayed their craftsmanship in its most visible form in the construction of their drawers.

So do we. By putting the craft back into modern kitchens, we feel we are doing something very special. Our cutlery and utensil drawers are like no other. Full of detail from a bygone era when handmade meant handmade.

Laid out to your exact requirements, so that at last, the inherited set of oversized skewers has a home!

Our drawer sides are slightly thicker than the front and backs to allow us to include a detail respectfully borrowed from the kitchen at Castle Drogo.

Our dovetails are laid out by eye and irregular in size to avoid any hint of a mechanical dovetailer.

Our divides are super fine and ‘housed’ in or mitered together, but also bull-nose-moulded for further refinement for the drawer that gets the most daily use.

For cutlery, we then line the bottom with an organic broadcloth from a Scottish Mill.
